Patient Care Coordinator (No Training Required)
- Work 3-5 days out of the week (including Saturdays)
- Friendly office, family-like atmosphere, team oriented
- Fulfilling work helping children and adults who have vision problems that are impacting their ability to succeed in school and life.
- Starting pay is $16-20 /hr, depending on experience.
- Chinese/Mandarin/Spanish speaking preferred, not required
- All training provided
Job Description
As the first person patients encounter, you must be friendly, professional and create a welcoming environment. You will have a very important position in our practice and represent our office to those who first walk in the door. The primary patient care coordinator is responsible for handling all patient flow.
A wide variety of duties include but not limited to: greeting and assisting patients, answering multi-phone system, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, collecting and recording payments, handling paperwork, reminder calls, keeping up on daily tasks etc.
Your additional roles will be to assist on the optical side with spectacle frame selection, contact lens training, reviewing costs and medical medical billing.
