Patient Care Coordinator (No Training Required)
Job Description
As the first person patients encounter, you must be friendly, professional and create a welcoming environment. You will have a very important position in our practice and represent our office to those who first walk in the door. The primary patient care coordinator is responsible for handling all patient flow.
A wide variety of duties include but not limited to: greeting and assisting patients, answering multi-phone system, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, collecting and recording payments, handling paperwork, reminder calls, keeping up on daily tasks etc.
Your additional roles will be to assist on the optical side with spectacle frame selection, contact lens training, reviewing costs and medical medical billing.
